The acronym TO.MO.CA is derived from the Italian words Torrefazione Café, which means modern coffee roasting. Established in 1953, in Addis Ababa – Ethiopia, Tomoca Coffee became the first roasting company in Ethiopia to meticulously roast quality, highland-grown Arabica Coffee originating from Kaffa – the birthplace of coffee. The family-owned business was also the first to provide roasted coffee to both the local and international markets. It is an award-winning coffee roasting company that is to date known as the gold standard of Ethiopian coffee; with over 21+ branches country wide.
