I recently stayed at Noora Resort in Bishoftu, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, greeting us with fresh juice and friendly smiles. The resort’s rustic charm was enhanced by the beautifully maintained grounds and luxurious accommodations. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a stunning view of the surrounding landscape, though we did face a few minor inconveniences, like the absence of balcony chairs and some quirks with the curtains. The food was one of the highlights—delicious dishes like chicken shawarma and fresh salads, and a wonderful breakfast spread featuring Ethiopian favorites and fresh juices. The outdoor dining area provided the perfect setting to enjoy our meals in the refreshing morning air. Although the resort isn’t fully finished—some amenities like the pool and fitness room were still under construction—the tranquil atmosphere and breathtaking views more than made up for it. There were a few areas for improvement, like adding handrails and finishing some construction projects, but overall, the stay was memorable, and I look forward to visiting again once the resort is complete. Highly recommend Noora Resort for anyone seeking a peaceful escape near Bishoftu Lake!

This resort is still under construction but based on what I saw it is going to be one hell of a destination a few hours drive h away from Addis Ababa. It is largely made of wood which is cut, shaped and assembled on site, and the quality of the construction is very good. There are lots of waiters ready to tend to your needs and I have seen up to three different restaurants and bars, mostly with a view to the lake that you can sit in. I understand that staying over night would cost you upwards of $80 per night, with some rooms selling for $500 per night. Go and have a look – you would enjoy it.

The hotel is simply Magnificent i made feel like i was in an old traditional Ethiopian palace plus the rooms were very comfortable and gorgeous with the feel of luxury all round , i had a wonderful time the satff very warm and very helpfull.
